Ricardo Valverde nasceu em 1992, em Leiria. Terminou o ensino secundário em 2010. Actualmente vive em Leiria, concluindo o curso de Artes Plásticas na Escola Superior de Artes de Design de Caldas da Rainha em 2016.
O seu trabalho caracteriza-se maioritariamente pela pintura digital, pelo uso de materiais industriais e a sua posterior instalação no espaço envolvente. Na sua obra, Ricardo Valverde explora a construção pictórica através dos contrastes entre planos de cores vivas, brilhantes e homogéneas, materializando figuras e situações insólitas no espaço físico.

Ricardo Valverde was born in 1992 in Leiria. He graduated from high school in 2010. He lives in Leiria, graduating in Plastic Arts at Escola Superior de Artes de Design of Caldas da Rainha in 2016.
His work is characterized mainly by digital painting, the use of industrial materials and their subsequent installation on the surrounding space. In his work, Ricardo Valverde explores the pictorial construction through the contrast between layers of vivid, bright and homogeneous colours, materializing figures and uncanny situations in physical space.
